While scouting the web for some information about Clapton’s tone, I ended up researching the legendary CS 5 Tri Stereo Chorus rack effect unit and stumbled upon this video of Steve Lukather showing his gear, some time in the 80s. He talks a bit about his G.A.S. It must have been tough being a roadie back in those days:
As to the now famed Tri Stereo Chorus, it keeps on living as a model in some Line 6 gear such as the Space Chorus pedal.
I’m always saying that 80’s hairstyle is awesome 🙂
