But also, I still feel very lucky that my situation some ten years back was also a little village with a guitarshop that advised me the Jackhammer - that Overdrive is still completely satisfying and very diverse! And it sounds great through a Peavey Classic 30, so I'm set for the next decades! Good review, it inspires to experiment a bit with the settings again. The pedal pass away two weeks ago (too many fall downs and a hard life) and I was looking to get a Guv'nor but people says that it's a soft JackHammer... I think I would buy another one... I bought one 5 years ago because I wanted something diferent to all BOSS pedals (metalzone, distortion, overdrive… a little bit tired of always saying that boss are the unique pedals of the world…) and totally surprises me…

A lot of possibilities to make different sounds and a really good overdrive. Distortion, for me, it’s not the best but the overdrive mode it’s really cool.
